Go Gold Casino event in London raises £9.5K

It was absolutely wonderful to welcome so many Arcs and families impacted by rhabdomyosarcoma to this special evening. They brought along their families, friends and supporters and it truly felt like a passionate and determined community coming together.

Also there were Enfuse Group who sponsored a casino table and kindly donated a ferrari lego set prize. Alice’s Arc is their charity of the year.

It was also fantastic to welcome a table of medical professionals and scientists all working with patients or on research into rhabdomyosarcoma. I hope it is inspiring to them to know how much we value their work and commitment to creating a better outlook for patients diagnosed in the future.

Guests enjoyed an amazing glitter bar from @Tropicalbird.co.uk, a fabulous casino including roulette raffle, black jack and poker games #TheCroupierClubLtd and wonderful music from the #BabelBrassBand. Gold featured throughout the night with gold truffle boxes for each guest from #TheChocolateShop and a prosecco drinks reception. The event was hosted at the fabulous @M Restaurant who spoiled us all with delicious steaks.

The casino was buzzing until the evening ended and raised a huge £6.3K on the night. So many wonderful prizes were donated – casino winners won trips in the UK, dinners in top London restaurants, theatre tickets, hampers, paintings, spa days, items from Lush, a gold Scamp & Dude bag and much more!

Never far from our hearts were the reasons that brought us together for the fundraiser – Alice, Ben, Amber, Elsa, Frank, Freddie, Gaspard, George, Ruby and Will. These children and young people were all represented on the night. And, of course, there are so many more who weren’t there on this occasion.

Final funds raised (after costs deducted) amounted to £9.5K. As ever, these funds are directed towards the rhabdomyosarcoma research projects we are funding.

Watch this space for the announcement of a new piece of pioneering research! Thank you so much to everyone! #thearcs #rhabdomyosarcoma #togetherwearestronger #fundraising
