Alice’s Arc donates another £69K to the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR)

The sum of money provided goes towards covering the salary costs of the Clinical Fellow and Postdoc roles. They are currently working hard to test new novel drugs, as part of the new imminent rhabdomyosarcoma clinical trial due to be launched shortly. They are also looking at devising a liquid biopsy test designed to detect rhabdomyosarcoma cells in the body. We are visiting the ICR in early 2020 to receive a research progress report and to agree plans for the future.

We have all our Alice’s Arc fundraisers and supporters to thank for making this happened. This is Alice’s legacy and what she would’ve wanted.
