Alice’s Arc ‘Go Gold’ Casino Night raises an incredible £4,400

On the evening of Saturday 14th March 2020, 85 people, dressed with a dash of gold and enjoyed a ‘Go Gold’ casino evening complete with glitter bar, band, photo booth, casino, drinks and canapés, sit down 2 course meal and a ‘gold’ inspired shot. We raised a grand total of £4,400. Prizes for winners of the casino and casino-related games included 7 nights accommodation in Portugal, a 3 night stay in Dorset, London Theatre Tickets and generous gifts from local businesses such as The Chapel hairdresser’s, Temper Temper chocolate workshop, Ilgin’s sourdough bread making, Prime Aesthetics Spa and Branded restaurant.

We are so grateful to everyone who attended, several rhabdomyosarcoma families attended and it was very special to meet them and to reconnect with the families we already knew. Many thanks also to local businesses who kindly donated their services – Up, Up & Away Events, Claire Brockwell’s glitter bar and to St Julian’s Club who provided the most fantastic food and setting at a discounted rate. This formula worked so well that we will repeat it.
