Alice’s Arc reaches £250K milestone fundraising

This is an incredible milestone and we are thrilled to have achieved this since we formally established ourselves over 2.5 years ago. The money goes towards helping to achieve our mission of finding a cure and less harsh treatments for the childhood cancer, rhabdomyosarcoma. We also aim to support the children and families impacted by a rhabdomyosarcoma diagnosis. Progress is being made with the team at the ICR recently identifying several new promising drugs that will be used in the new rhabdomyosarcoma treatment protocol due to be launched later this year.

Thank you so much for all the support from families impacted by rhabdomyosarcoma, ongoing corporate business support, fundraising via our network of friends and family and support from local businesses and schools. This is only the beginning, we are in this for the long term until a cure and better treatments can be found for this devastating childhood cancer.

We do this as we don’t want to see children like Alice suffering and being robbed of their childhoods due to cancer. We do this for all those children who have fought this cancer, for those still fighting and for those who will fight it in the future.
