Fairall family makes £5K donation to Alice’s Arc

We would like to thank the Fairall family for their extremely generous donation of £5K to the charity. Their 9 year old daughter, Sophie, was diagnosed with
stage 3 anaplastic rhabdomyosarcoma in September 2020, after suffering with tummy pains for six months. The tumour was 12cms and located in the
bladder area. 95% of the tumour was removed via surgery and Sophie is currently undergoing intensive chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

We are so grateful for their support of Alice’s Arc and are looking forward to working with them to help find more treatment options at relapse and to make
further discoveries in to the biology of rhabdomyosarcoma that can be translated to clinical trials.

Sophie’s story can be found by reading Sophie’s journey on facebook and instagram and is written by her mother. iS Please do follow this open and honest
account of a journey with childhood cancer. We wish Sophie and her family all the very best as she undergoes treatment.
