The McGee’s 5 day March to Merseyside raises over £5K for Alice’s Arc

Elsa McGee passed away in April 2020 during the height of the lockdown period in response to Covid-19. Elsa’s father and his brother’s, along with Elsa’s brother and cousins came up with the challenge of walking from Leeds to Liverpool along the canal starting on Thursday 20th August 2020. They managed to raise a huge £5,130 from their supporters.

They took this on to honour Elsa’s life and to stop any other children and their families from suffering the terrible consequences of rhabdomyosarcoma. They are committed to raising the funds need to contribute to research to develop more effective treatments for the disease.
What a fantastic challenge to undertake during Covid-19 and it certainly paid off. Thank you to the McGee’s for all your support in helping Alice’s Arc to achieve our mission.
